Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's turn hosting last month's Golden Globe Awards was so well-received that it hung over Seth MacFarlane's Oscars Sunday night, even prompting William Shatner to quip "Why couldn't they get Tina and Amy to host?" during his surprise guest appearance.

But Fey said Tuesday that hosting the Oscar awards next year was out of the question.

"I just feel like that gig is so hard," Fey told The Huffington Post Tuesday. "Especially for, like, a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone ... no way.

Fey wouldn't even grant the HuffPo's Mike Ryan a "one in a million chance" that she and Poehler would take on the Oscars.

"I wish I could tell you there was," Fey said.

Though we're disappointed, it's easy to understand her reluctance to emcee a show where expectations are so high.

MacFarlane himself refused to host the ceremony a second time, also telling Twitter followers there was "no way" he would take the job again. He even compared it to "Star Trek's" no-win cadet test.
