In an interview on the Australian "60 Minutes," Liz Hayes asked Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler if it was true he'd spent upwards of $20 million on cocaine was true. "No, probably, realistically 5 or 6 [million], easy," he answered. "But it doesn't matter. You could also say I've snorted half of Peru. It's what we did."

By "we" he was referring to Joe Perry, fellow band member and guitarist. The friends, known as the "toxic twins," had a falling out over Tyler's appearance on "American Idol," but the pair have been working together again since Tyler left the show. "We can still be toxic. We fight toxic and we play toxic." The singer had been sober for over 20 years before a relapse with prescription meds for which he underwent treatment in 2009.
