Google Glass preview shows you 'how it feels' to wear electronic specs [VIDEO]

Here's "how it feels" to wear Google Glass.

Google's futuristic visor may look like something out of a sci-fi film, but we're only a year away from seeing them in stores. The company unveiled more information about the Google Glass project on Wednesday, including a new video that shows what it's like to wear the voice-activated smart-specs.

Titled "How it feels," the preview shows a series of people going about their daily lives -- that is, skydiving, ballet dancing, skiing, etc. -- while using the headset to take pictures and video, ask for directions and even translate phrases.

As the video shows, the device is voice-activated, so users can issue commands by saying, "OK, Glass," which might get even more annoying than seeing people shout into their bluetooths.

Google also started a Twitter contest, using the hashtag #ifihadglass, asking participants to submit their own uses for the new project for the chance to test the specs and to buy their own $1,500 pair. Lucky them.
