Porn studio Vivid Entertainment has decided to indefinitely freeze DVD distribution of a sex tape featuring recently deceased country music star Mindy McCready. Vivid head Steve Hirsch said digital distribution is harder to regulate, but that he plans to pull all digital copies of the video from the Vivid website.
Following the death of her boyfriend, David Wilson, in January, McCready was found dead at her home in Arkansas on Sunday. The singer had suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot, according to authorities.
Titled "Baseball Mistress" and released in 2010, the tape shows an intimate encounter between McCready and her then-boyfriend. The country star also discusses her alleged affair with married baseball player Roger Clemens in the tape, thus its title. The tape appeared sometime after the singer's appearance on "Celebrity Rehab." The date of filming is unclear, but news of the affair with Clemens broke in 2008.
