Baby, a 10-year-old pit bull from Lincoln County, Okla., reportedly saved her family from a fire that destroyed her home, KOCO reported Wednesday.

Rhonda and Evelyn Westenberger were sleeping when Baby woke them up by barking and bouncing on their beds. The two sisters managed to leave the house safely, but Baby went back into the building to rescue the family's five remaining dogs. According to family member Charles Land, Baby grabbed one timid dog by the neck and dragged him out.

"It brings my spirit up a lot to see the dogs. I'm so proud of her. She is my hero. She's the hero for all of us, Rhonda Westenberger said.
