Morning show boozehounds Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb gave up drinking on their show for the month of January after the fun-killers at Ladies Home Journal asked them to sober up to promote heart health. When their herculean challenge finally came to an end Wednesday, Katie Lee and Hoda celebrated with enormous glasses of Colby Red wine presented by two half-naked men.

"All the profits go to heart health!" Kathie Lee reminded viewers.

"Don't try to make it legit," Hoda said.

The two ladies' four hours of daily sobriety left a lasting impression on their fellow "Today" show hosts.

"The makeup room was hell," joked Matt Lauer. "I've never seen crankier, moodier women in my entire life."

"What helped them was that that they continued to drink," Savannah Guthrie said. "Behind the set, and during commercials. I think the fact that they didn't stay sober during their month of sobriety really eased the tension around here."

Katie Lee and Hoda could still drink off the air, which makes the challenge a little less exciting. But it's still fun to see the co-hosts back on their worst behavior.
