The ex-LAPD cop that allegedly went on a shooting rampage Thursday, killing one police officer and injuring two others left detailed writings on his plans to 'terminate' his former colleagues in an online manifesto.

Police found extensive writings on the Facebook page belonging to Christopher Dorner, 33, explaining his intent to kill his police colleagues and possibly implicating himself in the murders of an assistant women's basketball coach and her fiancee.

The 'manifesto' details numerous alleged incidents of police brutality Dorner said were committed by his fellow officers. Over about 2200 words, he blames an atmosphere of unethical behavior for his "drastic and shocking actions," which he says he is doing in the hopes it will change the Department.

"The department has not changed since the Rampart and Rodney King days," he writes, referring to the 1990 corruption scandal and 1992 excessive force incident that touched off the Los Angeles Riots. "It has gotten worse."

"The consent decree should never have been lifted. The only thing that has evolved from the consent decree is those officers involved in the Rampart scandal and Rodney King incidents have since been promoted to supervisor, commanders, and command staff, and executive positions."

Dorner directly addresses the journalists he knew would be combing through every available detail of his life, describing himself as an upstanding citizen and challenging his readers to fault him for standing against racism.

"I'm not an aspiring rapper, I'm not a gang member, I'm not a dope dealer, I don't have multiple babies momma's [sic]," he says. "I am an American by choice, I am a son, I am a brother, I am a military service member, I am a man who has lost complete faith in the system, when the system betrayed, slandered, and libeled me."

He closes with a warning: "This will be a war of attrition and a Pyrrhic and Camdean Victory for myself. You may have the resources and the manpower but you are reactive and predictable in your op plans and TTP's. I have the strength and benefits of being unpredictable, unconventional, and unforgiving. Do not waste your time with briefs and tabletops."

It's no wonder, then, that police are on edge, wearing tactical gear and engaging in an all-out manhunt to capture Dorner before he can harm anyone else.
