Feb. 6 (UPI) -- 1994 Olympic gold medalist Oksana Baiul is suing NBC for $5 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Baiul, who won the 1994 lgold medal representing Ukraine, says the television network used her name and likeness to advertise two shows without her permission.

According to Zap2It, Baiul claims that she turned down an offer to participate in the two shows, but that NBC used her name anyway. The skater said the false advertising made her look like a "no show."
