The power outage that followed Beyonce's inspired performance during the second half of Super Bowl XLVII might have been the Illuminati's responsibility, at least that's what they claimed on Twitter.
"Yes, we turned the lights off at the #Superbowl," the account tweeted after the blackout.

But according to Entergy New Orleans, which supplies power to the Superdome, the blackness was brought on by an unspecified abnormality in the stadium's power system, CS Monitor reported.
This was the first time that New Orleans hosted the Super Bowl since the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was rebuilt following the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina, but its inauguration ended up being an embarrassment for the city.
New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu called Sunday night's outage, "an unfortunate moment in what has been an otherwise shining Super Bowl week for the city of New Orleans." Adding he expects to get "a full after-action report from all parties involved."
The 34 minutes outage was the biggest Super Bowl mishap since 2011 in Dallas, where 850 ticket-holders were denied entry to the stadium following a fire marshal's ruling that some sections were unusable.
