Lindsay and Dina Lohan arrived in Los Angeles' LAX at midnight to avoid the arrest warrant that would follow if Lindsay didn't show up to her hearing in Santa Monica, Calif. on Wednesday morning.

Given the impromptu nature of their trip, the Lohans were forced to go hotel hunting at midnight and were turned down by two hotels in the process. According to TMZ, the Lohan's were rejected from Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica (see video) around 1 a.m. on Wednesday due to Lohan's history of misbehavior at the hotel in 2007. Later on, the Loews Hotel also turned them down because there were no rooms available.

Lindsay had her new lawyer, Mark Heller, file a doctor's note this week claiming she couldn't attend her court date due to a respiratory infection. But when TMZ published photos of the actress shopping in New York when she was supposed to be sick, she quickly packed her bags and flew cross country to L.A.
