While Selena Gomez resorted to covering Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me a River' to let Justin Bieber know how she felt about their split, the teen idol decided to write her a breakup song of their own, and it is featured on his new album, out today, 'Believe Acoustic.'

Bieber's "Nothing Like Us," is definitely nothing like 'Cry Me a River,' Timberlake's famous parting anthem for Britney Spears. On the contrary, the song is sweet and flattering.

"At the end of the day, there's nothing like us, you know? That's just it. It is what it is. People are going to relate to that," Bieber told Billboard about the song.

And when asked if he was heartbroken, the singer couldn't help but answer affirmatively.

"I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been. I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going," he said.
