Chris Brown sounded off on Instagram after fellow musician Frank Ocean told police Brown punched him in the parking lot of a Los Angeles recording studio in West Hollywood.

The 23-year-old singer posted a photo of Jesus on the cross Monday, just one day after his alleged fight with Ocean.

"Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!" Brown captioned the image.

According to TMZ, a dispute over a parking spot resulted in the brawl between the two singers and their entourages.

"Deputies talked to witnesses who stated that Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space,"the L.A. County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. "The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim."

"Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. I only wish everest was there," Ocean tweeted Monday, referring to Brown and Everest, Ocean's Bernese mountain dog.

Brown is still on probation for his 2009 assault on Rihanna. According to The Daily Mail, Brown and Ocean quarreled before after the former compared Ocean to singer-songwriter James Faunterloy II. Ocean responded by comparing Brown to Ike Turner (Tina Turner's violent ex-husband).
