Charlie Brown's voice will resound in a San Diego courtroom on Wednesday, as Peter Robbins, the voice of the famous cartoon character, was charged on two counts after being arrested last weekend, NBC San Diego reported.

Robbins, who began voicing Charlie Brown when he was 9-years old, was arrested on Sunday in San Ysidro after a Border Protection officer conducted an in depth background check as he tried to cross the U.S.-Mexico border.

The background investigation revealed the actor had a felony warrant from the San Diego Sheriff's Department, and thus, Robbins was apprehended and booked into the Sand Diego County Jail.

The 56-year-old was arraigned Wednesday on counts of making a threat to cause death or great bodily injury and stalking.

Robbins was best known for voicing Charlie Brown in, 'A Boy Named Charlie Brown,' 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' and 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.'
