Back in 2009, Aretha Franklin's enormous, gray hat pretty much overshadowed her inauguration day performance of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee," garnering worldwide admiration for it's rhinestoned pizzazz, a Facebook page and a spot in the Smithsonian.
Katy Perry, who performed at this year's Kids' Inaugural Ball, brought a miniature version of the Aretha's bow to Monday's inauguration day festivities.
"Big inauguration, tiny Aretha hat," the 28-year-old singer tweeted.

Perry spent inauguration day with boyfriend John Mayer, who even took a turn posing with the mini Aretha hat.
