While observing Monday's inaugural celebrations, ABC newsman George Stephanopoulus saw an elderly black man in the audience and mistook him for actor Morgan Freeman. Stephanopoulus immediately apologized when a colleague identified the man as retired basketball legend Bill Russell.

"In George Stephanopoulus' defense, all tall people look alike to him," Jon Stewart quipped on Monday night's episode of "The Daily Show."

Stewart also poked fun of the media's obsession with Michelle Obama's new bangs and Barack Obama's flub over the word "states" during the oath of office.
