Betsy Andreu the wife of Lance Armstrong's former teammate who accused him of doping in the past, said he was insincere during to the cyclist's interview with Oprah.

"Lance is a master manipulator of the media," Andreu told Huffington Post's Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, "and that's why all these years, he's gotten away with it. Look at how many people are now saying, 'Oh my gosh. I had no idea he was the cheat. I had no idea he was such a bully and so mean.'"

In 2006 Andreu testified that a decade earlier she overhead Armstrong tell his cancer doctors he had used steroids, Human Growth Hormone and EPOs. After her testimony, Armstrong said she was a liar, crazy and a "bitch," The Huffington Post reported.

During Wednesday night's interview with Oprah, the cyclist admitted to apologizing to Andreu, he told Oprah he called her and said, "listen, I called you crazy. I called you a bitch. I called you all these things, but I never called you fat'," and added that they have not yet made peace.

"Forgiveness is a process it's not a switch," Andreu told Shihab-Eldin. Adding that one phone call could not take away 10 years of sneering.

"I wish Oprah would've fallowed up with Lance, it's a yes or a no question. Did it, or did it not happen?," Andreu said. "But see you gotta know Lance and to me he's gonna justify it by saying, 'look I basically said that it happened, but I just said it in this manner,' and the reason personally I think he did, is because you have perjury issues here. You have people who went before the grand jury presumed to have lied for him, who were involved in that hospital incident and it's this whole web of [lies]."

When asked if she thought Armstrong was a sociopath, Andreu said, "I have in the past [called him a sociopath], I think he's delusional...I don't think a sociopath would've called me to apologize."
