First lady Michelle Obama celebrated her 49th birthday with a brand new Twitter account for her office, @FLOTUS, and a meeting with Inaugural citizen co-chair David Hall.
But also, bangs!
The @FLOTUS handle debuted the first lady's new look -- a set of chunky, feathered bangs -- in its second tweet of the day.

So what does everyone think?
Vanity Fair called them "great" and created a taxonomy of bangs, which places Obama's new do somewhere within the Taylor Swift genus.
Huffington Post called them "a total shock to the system," while Stylist thinks she's going for the Karlie Kloss.
