Katherine Webb, who made headlines when ESPN's Brent Musburger fawned over her during his coverage of the BCS Championship game, announced on Twitter Thursday that "Inside Edition" had hired her as a Super Bowl correspondent.

Webb, 2012's Miss Alabama and Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron's girlfriend, has taken full advantage of her 15 minutes of fame as the subject of Musburger's admiration and an instant social media star. She will also appear in Sports Illustrated's next swimsuit issue.

Webb will start work January 28. The Super Bowl airs February 3.
