Portland firefighters spent nearly four hours working to free a woman trapped in an 8-to-10 inch wide space between two concrete walls Wednesday.

The unidentified woman had reportedly fallen part way down the 20-foot wall before she got stuck and neighbors heard her shouting for help, according to KATU-TV in Portland.

Rescue workers had to cut a hole through the concrete wall before they used airbags and soapy lubricant to push the space open and slide her out. They tried to make her as comfortable as possible by passing her cups of water and bringing her husband up to talk to her.

"She was in good spirits," Lt. Rich Chatman, of the fire department, said. "We just tried to reassure her ... we weren't going home without her," he said.

When the woman finally emerged from the space at around 7:30a.m. PT, she threw her hands up in the air and exclaimed, "Oh my god!"

Watch her celebrate freedom at the 5-minute mark in the video below. It looks a lot like the end of a long day at the office.
