Some say honesty is the best policy, and it was indeed for the college student who got multiple job offers from Wall Street after sending them a bluntly honest cover letter.

According to the Business Insider, the publication gets multiple applications for summer internships on Wall Street that are "extremely embarrassing because the applicant[s] [are] totally full of themselves or completely clueless." These letters then go viral as company members pass them around in chain emails making fun of the candidates, which is why it was a refreshing surprise for them to receive this "unapologetically honest" cover letter that people in Wall Street are calling "one of the best letter they've seen," and got its author, at least, a couple interviews.

The cover letter reads,

Unlike most of the letters the Street makes fun of, this one went viral for all the right reasons and landed its writer a potential internship at Wall Street.

Among the comments that came with the chain e-mail were:

-"This might be the best cover letter I've ever received. Second and third paragraphs especially."

-"That's amazing, please tell me you are considering at least a phone interview"

-"Hilarious but bold"

-"'The truth is I have no unbelievable special skills or genius eccentricities, bu ti do have a near perfect GPA'
Instant classic."

-"Jesus... this thing made like 20 turns in 30 mins? Kid sent it at 1:14 today. We're debating calling him up"

-"We called him"

-"Read the cover letter at the bottom. No joke, I think we should consider this guy. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy gets at least a call from every bank out there"
