Ann Romney turns down 'Dancing With the Stars'

First Lady Hopeful Ann Romney was asked to participate in DWTS, putting her love for the show aside, she declined.

After Mitt Romney lost the election to Barack Obama and Ann Romney was no longer the possible First Lady to be, 'Dancing With Stars' approached her about having her on the show, and after careful consideration she has said no, TMZ reported Monday.

The request was prompted by Ann's appearance on the show's last season finale, which she allegedly really enjoyed, TMZ reported. But after a few meetings with producers and much consideration Ann has said no to the show.

Of her visit to DWTS, Ann said, "A huge fan! And it was a surprise. We had my granddaughter come with us. And my daughter-in-law, it was her 40th birthday present."
