Named the Greatest Guitarist of All Time by Rolling Stone, Jimi Hendrix's unparalleled technical know-how and experimental sensibility made him a star until his premature death at age 27 and a legend afterward.

"People, Hell & Angels," an album of previously unreleased Hendrix songs recorded between 1968 and 1969, is due out March 5th (track list below). Rolling Stone said the album's first single, "Somewhere," "suggests his most complex work may have only been ahead of him."

According to Zap2It, CBS will air several of album's songs during an episode of "Hawaii Five-0" on January 20.

Janie L. Hendrix, the president of Experience Hendrix LLC, issued this statement:

We're thrilled to be able to release People, Hell & Angels, during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of my brother's birth. The brilliance of the album serves to underscore what we've known all along: that there has never been and never will be a musical force equal to his and that we cherish and take inspiration of what he left us both now and for many generations to come...simply eternity."

The tracks:

1. "Earth Blues"
2. "Somewhere"
3. "Hear My Train a Comin'"
4. "Bleeding Heart"
5. "Let Me Move You"
6. "Izabella"
7. "Easy Blues"
8. "Crash Landing"
9. "Inside Out"
10. "Hey Gypsy Boy"
11. "Mojo Man"
12. "Villanova Junction Blues"
