"Portlandia's" Fred Armisen stopped by "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Wednesday for a drum-off with The Roots' frontman and drummer, Questlove. Armisen, former drummer for Chicago punk rock band, Trenchmouth, more than held his own against the Roots' social-media friendly percussionist, whose not such a bad comedian himself.

Armisen also sat down with music-loving host Jimmy Fallon for a chat about the so-called bands they've been in together. There's no doubt several "Portlandia" characters would love their first effort, "The Baby Sparrows."
