Boehner reportedly told Reid to go 'f***' himself

When you're trying to keep the country from heading toward economic disaster, relationships with co-workers are bound to get a little heated. The most gossipy part of Politico's five-page rundown on a week's worth of contentious fiscal cliff negotiations is House Speaker John Boehner's harsh comment to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the White House lobby on Friday. After Reid had accused Boehner of running a House "dictatorship" on the Senate floor, the speaker allegedly told him where to go.

Via Politico:

“Go f*** yourself,” Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present.

Reid, a bit startled, replied: “What are you talking about?”

Boehner repeated: “Go f*** yourself.”
