Samuel L. Jackson and Anne Hathaway have competing films slated for a Christmas Day release -- Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," a brutal slave revenge story, and Les Miserables, the musical about starving French revolutionaries and their families. But which film is sadder? In a new video for Funny or Die, Jackson and Hathaway take their box-office battle of misery to the Internet in an epic holiday sad-off.

For example:

"My character works in a factory, everyone is mean to her. She loses her job," Hathaway says.

"You lose your job? Oh my god, everybody in my film has job security. 'Cause they're slaves," Jackson points out.
