By KATE STANTON, UPI.com

Samuel L. Jackson and Anne Hathaway have competing films slated for a Christmas Day release -- Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," a brutal slave revenge story, and Les Miserables, the musical about starving French revolutionaries and their families.
