Ke$ha's single "Die Young" has been pulled from several radio stations' rotations following the Newtown shooting, TMZ reported.

The single figured at No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100 on Friday but has plummeted ever since.

The song dropped from 167 million listeners (on Friday) to 148 million by Monday according to Mediabase. TMZ reported that a drop that big could only mean the song has been taken out of rotation.

Aceshowbiz said the single was removed from radio stations due to its sensitive content. The chorus of the song goes,

I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums
Oh what a shame that you came here with someone
So while you're here in my arms,
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young

Ke$ha has not made any comments on the drop, but did express her condolences for the victim's families via Twitter.
