Chaz Bono 65 lbs weight loss: I really like what I see
The Internet worked itself into a frenzy earlier this year over Cecilia Gimenez's botched restoration of a 19th century fresco, which made artist Elias Garcias Martinez's Jesus Christ look like a furry monkey. The 80-year-old grandmother, who even asked for royalties when her work became a web meme, has sold an original work of art for charity.
Her painting, titled "The Bodegas de Borja," sold for $1,400 to an anonymous bidder on eBay. According to the New York Times, proceeds will go to Caritas, a Catholic charity.
