After a year and a half of being in hiding, Casey Anthony was spotted eating at a restaurant in South Florida. This is the first time she's been seen out and about since her acquittal on the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, in July 2011.

South Florida's gossip website Gossip Extra broke the news by posting a cellphone photo of a woman who strikes a considerable resemblance to Anthony, sitting down at a restaurant.

The meal took place at a Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill in Lake Worth, Florida where several patrons recognized Pat McKenna, a West Pal Beach private eye who worked on Anthony's defense sitting across from her at the table (not sown in the photo).

The private eye is said to have picked up the tab and paid for it with a credit card that read 'Patrick J. McKennal'. Gossip Extra reported in July that McKenna may be helping Anthony stay in hiding. He is best known for his work in OJ Simpson's murder trial in 1995.

Last month a new piece of evidence came up regarding Caylee's murder case, a Google search on "fool-proof suffocation" that some say might have been enough to convict Anthony of murder.

In January 2012, Lifetime will premiere a movie on Anthony's story. 'Prosecuting Casey Anthony' will star Rob Lowe as the prosecutor Jeff Ashton and Virginia Welch as Anthony.
