WATCH: Jon Stewart raps about Michigan's "Right to Work" law to "Lose Yourself"

While explaining Tuesday's controversial action by the Michigan state legislature to pass anti-union right-to-work laws, Jon Stewart found the chants of protesters to be a bit disappointing.

"Union busting is disgusting!" has become a frequent cry from union protesters in Ohio, Wisconsin and other states whose Republican-controlled governments have passed laws limiting unions' organizing powers in the past few years.

But Michigan, Stewart said, should be able to do better.

"Dude, you're from Michigan," he said. "Detroit. 8-mile."

"If you want to win the climactic rap battle, you've got to put some effort into it!"

He then dons a knit beanie and shows them how it's done. (It almost works, too.)

The bit starts at 4:40.
