The odds sure are in Jennifer Lawrence's favor. The 22-year-old actress who plays bad ass archer Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games saga was named Askmen.com 'Most Desirable Woman of 2013'.

Lawrence went up over 40 spots since last year's poll in which she was No. 47. AskMen editor in chief James Bassil explained that the star's candidness might have been the reason behind the huge leap.

"Overall, there's a sense that she's a little more authentic than other actors," he said. Adding that "she's fresh because we haven't seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years."

On the other hand, celebrities who do in fact adorn tabloid covers every other day plummeted all the way down to the bottom of the list. This year Kim Kardashian came in at No. 98, 90 points below her No. 8 position on last year's list.

"Kim Kardashian is petering off and basically dropping off the list at this point even as she's become more visible," Bassil said.

The top 10 'Most Desirable Woman' of 2013

3. Kate Upton
4. Rihanna
5. Emma Stone

7. Kristen Stewart
