A lot has happened since "Seinfeld" left the airwaves in 1998, way before Twitter and Facebook began to change the way Americans interact with one another. But a new Twitter parody account, @SeinfeldToday, imagines how "Seinfeld" episodes might have gone in a world where people speak in hashtags, plank, read Gawker, call Uber cabs, laugh at Autocorrect and worry about what Netflix thinks of them.

The Atlantic Wire identified Buzzfeed sports editor Jack Moore and his friend, comedian Josh Gondelman, as the voices of "Modern Seinfeld." Moore told the site that even a sitcom as classically 90's as "Seinfeld" could work today.

"It would be different but not as different as everyone acts like," Moore said.

"People always say that 'if they had cell phones Seinfeld couldn't exist,' which is true for a certain type of Seinfeld episode, but not as a general rule (which I think the account shows)."
