It's been a long wait for fans of Orson Scott Card's 1985 novel, "Ender's Game," the story of a boy prodigy recruited to a military training center known as Battle School. Since Card first spoke of writing the screenplay in the mid-90's, "Ender's Game" readers have been eagerly awaiting a film adaptation of their beloved novel.

Summit Entertainment eventually took the reins, and courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, we've our first look at two of the storys central characters. The publicity still features Asa Butterfield ("Hugo") as Ender Wiggins, in line with fellow recruits at Battle School, in an intense-looking stare-down with Harrison Ford's Colonel Graff.

"Ender's Game" is due out in November, 2013.
