Fox began a new segment about the fiscal cliff with a brand new "news alert" graphic that caused more alarm than intended.

"America Live" host Megyn Kelly broke out into giggles twice, calling the graphic "terrifying."

"That scared me a little bit!" she said.

Her guest, Power Play host Chris Stirwalt agreed.

"I was a little frightened, he said. "I thought something really, really bad was happening, instead of just the standard badness."
