Kim Kardashian meets the U.S. ambassador to Kuwait [PHOTO]

Kim Kardashian's Middle East education tour (Millions of Milkshakes PR trip) began in Kuwait on Wednesday where she met U.S. Ambassador Matthew Tueller.

It might be painful for party-evangelical Andrew W.K., whose trip to Bahrain was unceremoniously rejected by the U.S. State Department, to see professional celebrity Kim Kardashian hanging out in nearby Kuwait with no less than the U.S. ambassador himself, Matthew Tueller.

According to the Daily Mail, Kardashian will make appearances at two new Millions of Milkshakes shops on her three-day trip to Kuwait and Bahrain. But after a Twitter gaffe concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the socialite and reality star also said she hoped to educate herself about the Middle East.

A source recently told TMZ that, "Kim wants to be as informed as possible ... so she can use her celebrity to help those in need and raise awareness about important issues in the area."
