WATCH: Anderson Cooper ducks bomb explosion during live report from Gaza

CNN sent Anderson Cooper, renowned Silver Fox and CNN anchor, straight to Gaza City to broadcast live from the center of the ongoing crisis between the Israelis and the Palestinians. While issuing a live report on a Sunday blast that killed 11 Gazans, a bomb exploded so close to Cooper that he ducked and said "Whoa!"

"That was a rather large explosion," Cooper could only say when he recovered. "It's actually set off a number of car alarms, but that was probably the largest explosion we've heard in the last hour," the CNN anchor added.

Though Israel recently agreed to put off a ground offensive in Gaza to allow for cease-fire talks, violence has continued to escalate, with Israeli airstrikes killing 15 people in Gaza on Monday.
