When Disney announced a deal last month to acquire George Lucas's Lucasfilm last month, the Internet promptly exploded with a combination of disgust, fear for the franchise, and cautious optimism that no matter what the Mouse House did to the Star Wars franchise, it had to be better than the most recent three films.

Then followed the rampant speculation--what story would they tell? Who would direct? Would the stars return? Would there be Disney Princess mashups?!?

The funny guys at Conan have suggested a few options, imagining what those audition tapes might look like.

Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom)

Todd Phillips (The Hangover}

Michael Moore

An Infamous Horror Director (The Human Centipede)
