Chris Berman asked the president about his favorite team, the Chicago Bears, and his thoughts on the new college football playoff system Obama had hoped for: "Promises made, promises kept. This was something I said needed to get done, and this is the kind of change you can believe in. But I’d like to see it actually go to eight.”
President Obama also had a dig at both political and sports reporters saying, "Political reporters are a lot like sports reporters. You lose a game and you're a bum. You win a game and you're a god."
For his part, Republican candidate Mitt Romney spoke about the energy he still felt after months on the campaign trail. He also voiced concern about performance-enhancing drugs and even took credit for the success of his favorite football team, the New England Patriots.
