News of Walt Disney Co.'s acquisition of the "Star Wars" universe burst many a pop cultural bubble this week, with fans of both worlds wondering how Disney would approach the legendary space opera in upcoming films, theme park appearances and merchandising. Social media users even made their own Disney-"Star Wars" mashups.

Now, Disney's getting in on the act. In the following video, brought to you by the Disney Parks people themselves, Darth Vader cavorts around Disneyland with two of his loyal Storm Troopers, enjoying a myriad of the park's stable pleasures, from the teacups to Space Mountain. Though it's pretty discomforting to know that swashbuckling space cowboy Solo and hirstute Chewbacca could one day be waving at children alongside Cinderella and Minnie Mouse, it's hard not to smile at the Dark Lord on a carousel.
