By now, you've probably heard that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has postponed Halloween until Monday, Nov. 5, for the children in his state.
The state of New Jersey released the following statement early Wednesday:
The circumstances that forced the change, of course, are of the utmost seriousness. Hurricane-slash-Superstorm Sandy devastated large swaths of Christie's state, at best knocking Halloween down the list of priorities, and at worst, making Trick or Treating a dangerous endeavor.
But let's be real. Rescheduling Halloween? That's pretty funny.
Twitter, as is its wont, reacted appropriately.
