Disney acquires Lucasfilm: Bring on the 'Star Wars' mashups

Walt Disney Co., has agreed to buy Lucasfilm for $4 billion, meaning that the powerhouse entertainment giant behind films like "Aladdin" and "Pocahontas," has full rights to Han Solo, Darth Vader and the rest of the "Star Wars" gang.

With everyone wondering what 2015's Disney-owned "Star Wars: Episode 7" might look like (here's George Lucas' thoughts), fans of both franchises began creating their own Disney-"Star Wars" mashups, and sharing them on Twitter under the hashtag #DisneyStarWars.
