A Gandalf pilot, Hobbit passangers, a flirty Aragorn and a flight attendant with flowing Legolas locks guide you through this elaborate airplane safety video from Air New Zealand.

If you assumed that the Kiwis had had enough Tolkien-inspired gimmickry (see: New Zealand's Hobbit currency and Wellington Airport's giant Gollum statue), you forget that Peter Jackson's highly anticipated "Lord of the Rings" prequel, "The Hobbit," is due out later this year.

Peter Jackson's Wellington-based production company WETA Workshop collaborated with Air New Zealand on the video, which features a brief cameo from the Hobbit-like filmmaker himself.
