Power outages, transformer explosions and widespread flooding are enough to stress out any grownup, so you can only imagine how kids must feel about a superstorm sure to throw many Halloween festivities asunder. With that in mind, Elmo appeared on "The Brian Lehrer Show" this morning with Sesame Street education rep, Rosemarie Truglio, to talk about how he dealt with Monday night's storm and it's aftermath, with adorable results.

Truglio and Elmo also referred viewers to a 2001 episode of "Sesame Street" when a hurricane destroyed Big Bird's next and the community banded together to help him. It's also worth sticking around to the end to hear the "Sesame Street" favorite tell the radio show's youngest ever caller: "Elmo loves you."
