In a radio interview with Orlando station Power 95.3, President Barack Obama got the chance to respond to claims that Nicki Minaj had endorsed Mitt Romney, after the music star rapped “I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney" in a Lil Wayne song.
"I'm not sure that's absolutely what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there," the president said.
Obama also said that while daughters Malia and Sasha didn't listen to a lot of Nicki Minaj, he and his wife, Michelle, have a "nice hip-hop collection" on their iPods.
