Check out two new songs from Ben Folds Five

The trio is releasing its first new album in 13 years, and you can hear two of the tracks ahead of the September 18 release.

Ben Folds Five, the band of three, thrilled longtime fans with the announcement they would record and release their first new album in 13 years.

The Sound of the Life of the Mind is due out in just under two weeks, on September 18, and the band has released two of the new album's tracks to help drum up excitement.

The trio, which split in 2000 after seven years together, and announced the new album in January, will be touring at least through the beginning of December.
