Julian Castro's daughter flips her hair back and forth, steals show

With all eyes on her at the Democratic National Convention, Carina Castro, 3, made sure her hair looked fabulous.

San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro's gave a well-received keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday night, but it was his 3-year-old daughter, Carina, who really captured everyone's heart.

Cameras panned over to Carina, who began flipping her hair over her shoulders, as her father spoke of his hopes for his daughter: "She's still young, and her dreams are far off yet, but I hope she'll reach them."

As the crowd burst into laughter, NBC anchorman Brian Williams couldn't help but quip, “There's nothing quite like being a father of a daughter.”

Carina's primping antics were also a hit with the Twitterverse, with some commenters seeing a future for her in politics.
