Jerry Sandusky is apparently trying to make good use of his time in prison.

Now off suicide watch, and described by prison officials as a model inmate, the disgraced Penn State assistant football coach is working on a book.

WJAC TV reports that Sandusky, awaiting sentencing for 45 counts of child sex abuse, began writing with the intention to tell his version of events at the hearing, but that the project has now evolved to a book with the help of his wife.

"Sources said there has been so much paperwork exchanged between Jerry and [his wife] Dottie that Dottie has had her written correspondence privileges suspended by prison officials," the report said.

Sandusky's first book, the unfortunately named Touched was published in 2001, and is a memoir of his life as a football player and then coach. Copies of the book are selling for as much as $400 on Amazon.

No word on whether Sandusky plans to title the new book Touched 2.
