NASA's team of Mars Curiosity scientists became global sensations after their successful landing of the rover more than a week ago, captivating Americans with their color photographs of the Red Planet, teary-eyed celebrations and creative haircuts.

It was only a matter of time before everyone's favorite scientists got their own viral video--the people of YouTube channel Satire just debuted a "Sexy and I Know It" tribute to the men and women of NASA.

"I got stars on my hawk and I ain't afraid to show it. We're NASA and we know it," raps the mohawked leader of the video, an homage to NASA's adorably coiffed Bobak Ferdowski.

The video's lyrics are so pitch-perfect ("This is how I rove, bakin' red rocks in my nuclear stove."), it's not hard to imagine them coming directly from the mouths of NASA's science geeks.

"Shout out to Carl the Sage, and Neil deGrasse T. Shout out to JPL and the Rocker-Bogie," the video's leader raps.

YouTube video makers are not the only ones to point out how cool NASA has gotten.

"It does sound like NASA's come a long way from the white shirts, dark-rimmed glasses and pocket protectors," President Barack Obama joked Monday.
