Dane Cook's 'shoot me' joke about the Colorado theater massacre [VIDEO]

In video footage obtained by the Daily Caller, Dane Cook cracks jokes about last week's shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado.

"So I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into the movie," Cook begins. "And I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie, but the movie is pretty much a piece of crap...yeah, spoiler alert.”

“I know that if none of that would have happened, pretty sure that somebody in that theater, about 25 minutes in, realizing it was a piece of crap, was probably like ‘ugh f*cking shoot me.’”

Cook's performance is not the only controversial joke to come out of the Laugh Factory comedy club in recent weeks. Comedy Central's Daniel Tosh received criticism for a rape joke he allegedly directed at a female audience member earlier this month.
