Homeland releases first season two promo

The Emmy-nominated thriller from Showtime will return to television for its second season on September 30.

The long, hot summer break is nearly over for some of last season's best shows.

Showtime's Homeland, which last week received nine Emmy nods, was widely considered one of the top shows of the year, leaving fans with burning questions as the season ended with a--literal--bang.

Showtime has released the first promo spot for the upcoming sophomore season, which bows September 30, teasing at some of those questions.
